The Hedge Fund Fundamentals virtual seminar provides a broad and comprehensive overview of the Hedge Fund Industry. In this program we will look at the structure, objective and strategies used by hedge fund managers. This program will review the regulatory environment for this market segment.

This presentation highlights the Hedge Fund industry and marketplace. In this program we will highlight the difference between hedge fund and more traditional asset managers. The regulatory environment for the US and Europe, regarding disclosure, liquidity, fees, marketing, performance, asset mix will all be reviewed. The topic of alternative assets, and asset mix and broad strategies used by hedge fund managers will be highlighted. We will review the state of the hedge Fund industry today: size, competitive dynamics, industry dynamics and size.

Who Should Attend

The seminar would be useful for anyone whose duties entail some exposure to the Hedge Fund industry. The program would be especially helpful to those working in areas supporting Fund Manufacturing and Sales as well as middle and back-office areas such as clearance and settlement, compliance, financial control, information technology, portfolio administration or marketing.  Prerequisite: None
